Junior Clinics and Camps

 

Currently, we are only able to offer Saturday clinics.  There will be a new junior program being rolled out in the Fall of 2019 with plans of offering Summers Camps in 2020.  Thank you.

 College Prep Program

 

It's getting more and more competitive to play college golf.  At Buchanan Junior Golf Program, we offer a comprehensive guidance to help junior golfers have the best chance at attending and playing at a college of their choice.  The program includes focus on goal setting, practice management, tournament scheduling strategy, and communicating with coaches.

Strength Training

 

With a Titleist Performance Institute certified trainer who has over 20 years of personal training experience, our junior golfers will learn to become athletes.  By assessing strengths and weaknesses early on, training will help gain power in drives as well as injury prevention.  Age appropriate physical training at an early age helps develop speed and coordination that will help in any athletic endeavors.

Center and Balance

 

Golf swing in a nutshell is a centered rotation.  Biggest challenges that most golfers have is to maintain centered balance throughout the swing, rotating around a center axis.  Practice hitting golf balls with feet together to feel the sense of centeredness.  After 5-10 golf balls, achieving successful balance and ball striking, spread the feet out to normal width to feel similar centeredness.  

Keeping it FUN for kids
​

For kids to continue to learn and enjoy golf, keeping it fun is essential.  Engaging them in group sessions that focus on basic movements, coordination and speed development, as well as simple golf mechanics will help them develop golf skills in a social setting, which equals FUN!
